Comfortable room, attentive service, with the staff quickly providing an extra cup and biscuits upon request, enhanced by a lovely dinner that saved us from going elsewhere and a great breakfast experience that accommodated our egg request without any trouble.

the white horse has an excellent location. it’s been our go-to spot for years. the staff is super friendly, especially with pets. the cozy pub area is a nice touch and the food is outstanding. my partner absolutely loved the burger, and it’s such a gem for dog-friendly meals.

I found it super easy to explore attractions like the Cherhill White Horse and Calne Heritage Centre, both within a short and enjoyable stroll from the hotel, which made my stay all the more special since I love walking around cities and discovering new places. The food served was fantastic and included one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, perfect for fueling my adventures for the day.

We had a lovely quiet escape in the countryside, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast and the comfortable bed. The overcooked bacon for breakfast was a bit disappointing, but the local produce was wonderful.

Room access to the garden area was a nice touch. The bathroom definitely needed a good cleaning.
